Chloe's room in progress

After we found out we were going to have a girl, I got right to work with figuring out what to do for her nursery. Everything from colors to bedding and decor. I love every minute of it because I want it to be perfect for her and something that will always be a happy room to be in with warm and bright colors and comfortable. This are the exactly the colors we wanted and I found a picture of a nursery that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!! The colors and everything are identical to what we are looking at for Chloe's room :)

If only we could paint the walls it would be even better but we are gonna have to take items in the room to make that blue/aqua/turquoise color pop. Now of course we went a little warm and darker on the turquoise color because we wanted in to not be so light but we found a medium color between a warm sky blue and and aqua that we liked. The pink we want to stick with because it will make the room seem warmer. Now this is our little projects so far that we have finished.

These are her letters that are going to go on a white shelf next to the crib.

This is the crib skirt that we pulled our colors from and to make other things bring the colors out.

We found this white little shelf/bookcase for 6 dollars and finished using the paint from her letters to put a little originality into the shelves ; )

The next couple things we really want to find is of course a dresser that is white that all of her onesies and what not to go into. Along with little bins to put at the top of the closet to organize her bows, socks, shoes, and headbands. Then a toy pin that has these colors or a bright green one for her toys and do-dads. We had our eye on a pink rug that would look awesome in the middle of the room, but were not sure if we really want to invest 40 dollars into a rug... but we'll see. Here is some wall decor that we saw in the nursery picture that we either want to follow along or find something close to it.
This of course is a lot softer than the rest of the room but it's good to have a contrast of both bold and soft, just to balance the room out. So hopefully we can find something like this or paint something like it because the pictures itself is 240 dollars.... mm mm not so much into buying art at that price or even a 100 dollars :)
